The Mucky Duck
Beach "pub style" restaurant with a highlight at sunset with dozens of patrons watching the majesty of the event in silence. They are open now post hurricane and just as good as ever!
The Bubble Room
The Bubble Room with all its quirky, charming decor is a fun place to take the kids. The servers are dressed like Boy Scouts, and the desserts are a speciality and delicious! They are in the process of rebuilding and restoring their services post hurricane. Opening date is unknown.
Key Lime Bistro
The Key Lime Bistro is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Live music daily. This restaurant is closed for hurricane repairs and will open hopefully sometime in 2024
Doc Ford's (Captiva)
Our beloved Doc Fords has closed on Captiva as the South Seas Resort is under new management. However Doc Fords on Sanibel is open now post Hurricane!
Latte Da
New location near their former location in the little restaurant plaza on Andy Rosse Lane. Several flavors of the delicious Queenie's ice cream, made by a local resident. It's the best ice cream around and our favorite is Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip with a close second of Key Lime! This little shop is currently closed for repairs post Hurricane Ian. They are unsure if Queenie’s will reopen her ice cream business in Ft Myers so for now, no Queenie’s ice cream is available.
Green Flash
The Green Flash is located right on the bay side of Captiva. There is outside as well as inside seating and both have great views and their own charm. As you can see from the photo, boats may dock there as well and catch a bite to eat. After many repairs post hurricane Ian, the Green Flash is now open for business.
RC Otters
RC Otter's on Andy Rosse Lane: Hurricane repairs were made and they are now open for business
